Review: The Sting

“Some people say I look like a young Marvin Hamlisch.”
“Who’s that?”
“He did the music for The Sting.”
“That’s a good movie.”
It is a good movie. Three things:
The thing that stood out for me was the amazing set design; you can tell it’s on a giant set, but it looks amazing, for 1973 standards. 
Robert Redford claimed he watched it for the first time in 2003. WTF?
It’s one of only six Universal pictures to win Best Picture. When it won, it broke a 43 drought, the first win since All Quiet On The Western Front (1930). Since then, they won with The Deer Hunter (1978), Out Of Africa (1985), Schindler’s List (1993), and A Beautiful Mind (2001).
