Review: Garden State
It’s that quirky Fox Searchlight-y movie of 2004 (we got Sideways too) that impresses audiences the world over but secretly sucks (Slumdog Millionaire, Juno, Little Miss Sunshine, etc.). Okay, LMS didn’t suck, but, let’s face it; it’s a tit overrated. I LOVED this, until the point it decided to rush its ass off and barrel to a foregone conclusion. Zach Braff can definitely direct, and he’s probably one of my top twenty favorite actors. But the last eight of this movie just pissed me off.
