The 10 Most Dangerously Cute Broads Of Today

This is a list I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. The term ‘dangerously cute’ means, to me, that these particular broads aren’t ‘hot’ or ‘sexy,’ but their unique looks could get you trouble. Bare with me, and enjoy…

Note: there’s no real criteria for entry onto the list… you just have to be up and coming and not otherwise outright popular.

10.

Anna Kendrick

Souless beings might recognize her from Twilight, but those of us with taste will have to wait to see Anna do her thang. She’s set to appear in Todd Louiso’s next, The Marc Pease Experience, with Jason Schwartzmann, Jason Reitman’s next, Up In The Air (which I’m currently reading, and it’s great), which Clooney, Farmiga, and, of course, J.K. Simmons, as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (you’ll see this a lot). And she was born in Portland, Maine! I’m from Maine! Keep an eye out for this dangerously cute broad. Age: 23

9.

Amanda Crew

You may recognize Crew from Sex Drive or The Haunting In Connecticut. That’s all for her, so far. Age: 22

8.

Emma Roberts

This Emma fits the dangerously cute criteria just right because she’s only 18 (by 2 months). She has her aunt’s big mouth, but she’ll grow into her looks (and loose them quickly) as well. You may recognize her from Hotel For Dogs, but she’s got Derick Martini’s Lymelife (which opens today) and Joel Schumacher’s (ouch) Twelve next.

7.

Emma Watson

Going by her pose, it looks like you just asked her what Harry Potter was. She’s 18 (19 in a week), and has starred in nothing but the Harry Potter series aside from doing a voice in The Tale Of Desperaux and doing a TV movie called Ballet Shoes where she was in a bathtub. It got all us fanboys hot and bothered, but it turns it she was just in a bathtub (and not getting in or out). I hope she can take a cue from her co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint and get naked in an upcoming role. Get to it (we’ll wait).

6.

Cameron Richardson

You might recognize her from Alvin & The Chipmunks (but I hope you don’t). She’s already lined up for the Squeakuel (tee-hee!), and she’ll be in Sebastian Guiterrez’s Women In Trouble (something I’ve got my eye on). Cinematical recently did an article about the next Bond girls they’d like to see and she was one of them (I agree). Age: 29 (looks 16)

5.

Jessy Schram

I’ve had my eye on this one for four years, ever since she played Young Alison on an episode of Medium in 2005. She’s also been on Veronica Mars, in American Pie: The Naked Mile, and has a recurring role on Life. She’s got a face that you don’t feel uncomfortable staring at. It speaks. Age: 22

4.

Amber Heard

Heard creeped onto my radar ever since I watched All The Boys Love Mandy Lane last summer online. Scratch that; I actually first saw her on one of the first episode of Criminal Minds back in 2005. Lane was filmed in 2006, and still hasn’t seen the light of theater or DVD day. Scratch that as well; once set up at The Weinstein Company, it was bumped to Senator Entertainment, then bounced to Sony’s Straight-To-DVD arm, and back to Senator. It’s eyeing a July 17th release. But, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t become popular. She was on The CW’s Hidden Palms, was in Never Back Down, and Pineapple Express. On April 24th, comes The Informers, featuring Heard “90% naked” in a role that supposedly makes the entire movie remotely watchable. She just barely tetering on the edge of stardom, with 7 upcoming projects, includuing The Rum Diary with J Depp and Richard Jenkins (yay!). Age: 22

3.

Taylor Momsen

Like how I got the same fucking pose? I do. Alright, she’s only 15, which makes her even more dangerously cute (and just plain dangerous if your my age). You may recognize her as Cindy Lou Who from Ron Howard’s …Grinch…, so get that thought out of your mind and proceed. She’s has a steady gig on Gossip Girl and not much else, but keep your eye out. 15.

2.

Brooke Nevin

OK, remember 1998? Remember Animorphs? Yeah, she was an animorph, and I vividly recognize her from some of the cover of the novelizations that littered all of our elementary school libraries. From there, she dabbled in a lot of guest spots on various shows and a starring role in The Comebacks, that stupid sports comedy with David Koechner and Melora Hardin from The Office. She just filmed My Suicide, an extremely indie picture that just played SXSW and Gen Art Film Festival (where it TOP honors). It doesn’t have a distribution deal yet, but with that honor, one shouldn’t be far off. Here’s the trailer below. It seems like a hybrid of, oh hell just watch it and make your own assumptions. Age: 26

1.

Brie Larson

She’s only broad my age on the list, but she’s also the most dangerously cute. She got started as a girl scout on Leno in 1998, going on to star in The WB’s series Raising Dad with Bob Saget and Kat Dennings (dangerous, not cute). After than was done, she scored the role of Sydney in the Hope & Faith pilot, a role that would later go to… Megan Fox. My head is spinning just thinking about that alternate universe. Now she’s in Toni Collette’s Showtime series The United States Of Tara. Up next? A role in Noah Baumbach’s next, Greenburg, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Anybody I missed?
