Not only is this my most anticipated film of April 2009, it’s probably my most anticipated film of the January-April season (Up takes summer and Shutter Island takes the fall and all). The red band trailer (above) is one of my top five favorite trailers of all time, expelling any Paul Blart 2 hesitations and signaling the arrival the next great dark comedy. After seeing The Foot Fist Way last summer, I quickly uncovered what first time director Jody Hill had in the works, and this was put on the must-see list. I’ve even caught some Eastbound And Down, and that’s awesome too. Now, here we are, four days away from the dawn of Seth Rogen’s crowning achievement and Jody Hill’s big break. And the first time I’ve seen my favorite actor Ray Liotta on screen in a while (I’m not being sarcastic, he’s my favorite actor).

Do the world a favor; go see it, spread the buzz, and recommend it.

Glad to see Danny McBridge got a part (and what looks to be an hilarious one at that).
